Clinical Supervision
Behavioral Intervention and Consulting is proud to offer a clinical supervision program that allows individuals interested in becoming a BCBA or BCaBA an opportunity to participate in an intensive supervision program. BI&C has created a training curriculum in accordance with the BACB standards in order to guide participants through their fieldwork experience, giving them the tools needed to prepare for the certification exam as well as provide them the foundational skills required to practice as a quality behavior analyst.
Candidates will meet as a small group and individually with BI&C supervisors. Small group meetings will allow candidates to learn from others in a class-like environment while supervisors lead the group through a curriculum focused on the BACB task list items. In addition, candidates will receive individual supervision, which will provide opportunities for further growth and individualized instruction.
Effective behavior-analytic supervision includes:
Development of performance expectations
Observation, behavioral skills training, and delivery of performance feedback
Modeling technical, professional, and ethical behavior
Guiding behavioral case conceptualization, problem-solving, and decision-making repertoires
Review of written materials (e.g., behavior programs, data sheets, reports)
Oversight and evaluation of the effects of behavioral service delivery
Ongoing evaluation of the effects of supervision
